Bài viết này hướng dẫn cho Win 7, nhưng cũng tưong thích cho cách làm với Win VISTA

- tải Win 7 PE - Win 7 Rescue - Win 7 portable tại: [Chỉ có thành viên mới có thể nhìn thấy link. CLICK VÀO ĐÂY ĐỂ ĐĂNG KÝ]
- Tại win 7 cmd, lần lượt gõ hoặc copy và paste các lệnh sau:

cd /d C:\boot

lệnh chuyển hướng trong thư mục C:\boot của windows 7

bcdedit -store BCD /enum

Liệt kê các entry system (Menu boot) hiện hành VD của tôi sẽ thấy:

- Giờ ta sẽ thay dòng hiển thị menu trên: Windows 7 Ultimate (recovered) bằng START WINDOWS 7 bằng lệnh:

bcdedit -store BCD /set {default} description "START WINDOWS 7 SP1"

- Copy thư mục Sources và PROGRAMS trong ISO Win 7 PE vào ổ C:\ hay ổ nào khác nếu muốn, Tôi dùng ổ C:\
- Gõ lệnh cmd sau để tạo thêm menu START WIN 7 PE RESCUE

bcdedit -store BCD /copy {default} /d "START WIN 7 PE RESCUE"

bạn sẽ thu được 1 dãy số GUI , hãy ghi lại hoặc copy nó, VD của tôi sẽ là thế này

C:\Boot>bcdedit -store BCD /copy {default} /d "START WIN7 PE RESCUE"
The entry was successfully copied to {311d2cf8-8be7-11e0-af08-0022646d0127}.

Và bạn lưu số kiểu như thế này: {311d2cf8-8be7-11e0-af08-0022646d0127}
- Thiết lập hướng boot cho file boot.wim:

bcdedit -store BCD /set {311d2cf8-8be7-11e0-af08-0022646d0127} device ramdisk=[C:]\sources\boot.wim,{64a3d43a-8950-11e0-ae2d-eb404d243011}

- Và thiết lập lại osdevice:

bcdedit -store BCD /set {311d2cf8-8be7-11e0-af08-0022646d0127} osdevice ramdisk=[C:]\sources\boot.wim,{64a3d43a-8950-11e0-ae2d-eb404d243011}

Chú ý thay thông số {311d2cf8-8be7-11e0-af08-0022646d0127} bằng cái của bạn nhé
Sửa menu Ramdisk options với entry: {64a3d43a-8950-11e0-ae2d-eb404d243011} thành START WIN7 PE RESCUE bằng lệnh:

bcdedit -store BCD /set {64a3d43a-8950-11e0-ae2d-eb404d243011} description "START WINDOWS 7 PE RESCUE"

Và giờ kiểm tra lại các menu bằng lệnh ban đầu:

bcdedit -store BCD /enum

Và bạn sẽ thấy như thế này

Và bạn đã thành công rồi đó, khởi động máy và lựa chọn menu để kiểm tra, chúc bạn thành công
ps: Với cách thêm menu entry này, bạn cũng có thể tích hợp ISO Window 7 install với Win 7 PE được rồi đó (Multiboot)
